Sauce Batch Calculator
Scale any recipe by desired yield.
How the estimate works
Adjusted ingredient quantity = original ingredient quantity × (desired yield ÷ original yield).
Scale each ingredient separately using the same unit it started with (cups, tablespoons or grams). Taste and adjust seasoning; scaled acid, salt and spice blends may need fine-tuning.
Worked example
For a 2-cup sauce recipe scaled to 6 cups, each ingredient is multiplied by three. ½ cup becomes 1½ cups.
Food safety first: Time estimates and temperatures of the cooking chamber never prove meat is safe. Verify food with a properly placed, accurate food thermometer and follow minimum internal temperature guidance.
